From subtle and simple for a more elegant look as I have done for my elven princess through to a complete piercing set for a warrior of a lost realm and even for those of us that lurk on the dark side like a blood thirsty vampire that longs to feel the warmth of the sun on her pale cold skin. The piercings are unisex so they come in male and female size. The mesh piercings are very easy to adjust so you can fit them to your unique shape perfectly. Some sets have a couple of different piercing variations for you to try as well as a number of different shades and highlight for the face and body paints.

Black Thyri Moon

 This is one of Tableau Vivant's amazing new release hair styles called Moon. It's long, cute and also comes with a headdress (not featured). Moon hair is currently available at the Cutie Moon Fair. 

I am wearing it in white from the Spring fatpack.

 DE Designs have released this gorgeous mesh dress Thyri. It is very sexy and the textures are incredible. I have been wearing this dress for a couple of weeks and have had a hard time finding some shoes to go with the black version that I'm wearing. I really wanted some platform boots but wasn't sure if thigh high boots would work with this dress until I demo'd a pair of Bax Coen's thigh high patent leather boots, perfect! Now I had the hard chose of choosing a colour.  Love black, definitely need the white, black/red and black/white two tone colours are just amazing.  As you can see I bought the black as usual but will definitely be back for the other colours.

My pics definitely do not do justice for this dress. Head instore and try on a demo, you will not be disappointed. I comes in 5 sizes and also in a fitted mesh version for those with a compatible viewer.

One of the things I love to do in SL is to mix and match various clothing pieces from different designers, whether it be a single item or a piece from an outfit, to create a unique outfit that I love to wear. Yes my outfits tend to be rather dark but that's my thing, it's what I enjoy. Most stores release their items in an array of other colours or in lighter shades so if you see an item that you like the look of, head to that particular store and see if they have it in a colour that suits your own style.

I recently posted a pic where I only showed a tiny glimpse of this dress and I had to do another post to show how stunningly beautiful this Demeter gown from Evie's Closet is. This is the MVW 2013 colour version, there is also a fall version available. Demos are available too.

Tortured for the sake of beauty

This is the result of my 9y/o daughter sitting down next to me wanting to dress my avi. I told her I was going to blog a new skin from a store called Glam Affair, she looked at me strangely and said "you can't take pretty pictures looking like that" talking about my normal dark looking Avi. I agreed to let her help. Big mistake! To my horror I had to remove all the tatts and piercings, couldn't even convince her to allow a simple dermal piercing on the upper lip. I feel so naked without my piercings. Sorry Darcy you lose out on this one. Had to then lose the creepy eyes, dye my white locks brown, remove all black clothing including the boots, I just wanted to cry. Then I actually had to put on underwear…lol. I was told we needed a dress. Kinda regretting having such a large Evie's closet folder in my inventory, we spent about 1.5 hours trying and retrying every single dress, even had to go to the store to see if there was anything else that we may have missed or looked better in a different colour. As for the beautiful Sylvia skin from Glam Affair with it's huge array of tattoo layer addons. Eyebrows, eye shadow, nose, cheeks, lips and lipstick we tried on every layer again and again till she was happy. O.O

There is no chance in hell I'd let this post go without creating a pic of my own (when my daughter went to bed). Sylvia, though a very beautiful skin for all you gorgeous women out there, it is also perfect for those of us that enjoy the more darker side of SL.

She's no angel

The latest round of 'The Challenge' has just begun and this months theme is heaven. But seeing I am far from angelic, I thought I'd find it hard to blog any of the items from this round.  Well that was until I saw this Angelic chair from 22769 ~ [bauwerk] with it's big golden wings. I pictured it surrounded by lit candles, dark wares and gothic garb. The Angelic chair comes in both high and low LOD versions. It's loaded with lots of seated poses and come in different cushion colours, this one is black.

DE Designs have just released some suede and leather mesh pants that come in a number of colours, I chose the black ones of course. There is also a new jacket available too.

Tableau Vivant have released a brand new mesh hair style called Hills - dreads. It includes some wispy bits of hair that you can wear around the hair line as well as a colour changing HUD. Love, love, loven the dreads. 

 These gorgeous tootsies are ballerina vanity feet from Glam Affair. The skin tone, ribbons and toe nails are colour changeable via a HUD.  Rose petals are from Cleo designs 'challenge' item. It come with roses in a vase.

Sacred Opal Fae

I am on a search to find a Chrystaline Opal Fae which are apparently close to extinction. These extremely rare creature are nothing like the cute little mischievous fairies that live at the bottom of your garden.  

It is believed that these quaint colourful beauties with are elusive due to being so timid but if we are lucky and quick enough, we might just catch a quick glimpse.  

 These sweet and angelic creatures with a delicate soft glow live in tiny caves of snowy white, hidden just under the peak of the tallest waterfalls.

With a little persuasion and a very quick hand, look what I managed to catch. 

A sprinkling of fairy dust begins to fall as she froliced upon the palm of my hand. 

 Way too small to sink ya teeth into the neck of but shove one in your mouth and bite down and POP! they burst in your mouth with an amazing crackle and fizz.  Just like a packet of pop rocks. Fairy floss (cotton candy) flavoured wings dissolve the moment they touch your tongue. Mmmm....I could definitely go another one of these.

Fantasy Faire - Evie's Closet

Evangeline Miles of Evie's Closet has done it again with the release of this absolutely stunning gown, Kie, at this years Relay For Life Fantasy Faire.  With a boned satin bodice adorned with a delicate lace, a flowing skirt and sculpted flowers (flowers not featured), this gown is just beautiful. It even makes my dark hearted self look and feel elegant, beautiful and very sexy.

I'm sorry but I couldn't help it, it's gorgeous and I am having a hard time taking it off to blog all the other Fantasy Faire items I have.
